The purpose of the Northshore Senior Center
is to develop opportunities for seniors to
create healthy and satisfying lives for
themselves, for each other and for the members
of our community. The Center provides
health clinics, classes, social services,
recreation, education, and nutrition programs
for residents of Bothell, Kenmore, Woodinville,
Juanita, and South Snohomish County.
The center is located one block south of
Main Street near downtown Bothell.
Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Dues and Fees:
Annual membership is $20 single and $35
couple. Scholarships are available.
Members receive discounts on classes, trips and
activities. Non-members are welcome to
participate.
Newsletter:
Published quarterly: January/February/March,
April/May/June, July/August/September, and
October/November/December. The newsletter
is mailed to members and is free at the
center. The newsletter includes information
about the Northshore and Woodinville
Adult Day Centers and the Project Enhance.
Services:
Educational, recreational and social classes and
activities for those over 55. Co-ordinates
the Project Enhance in 27 senior centers
in King, Snohomish and Pierce Counties.
Special Events and Fundraisers:
Ransacked
Attic Sale, Theater group, dinners and luncheons,
pancake breakfasts, jewelry sales, concerts,
fashion shows, flower sales, art shows, raffle,
more.

fund-raising, Senior Services, United Way.
Transportation:
Transportation to the center Monday-Friday,
8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 50 cents each way. King County:

Volunteer
Opportunities:
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Northshore Senior
Center. Only with a dedicated group of
volunteers can we offer 300 activities and
services every month to over 7,000 participants
each year. Volunteering is a source of
great satisfaction for everyone who
participates. if you would like to
volunteer or would like more information, call
(425) 487-2441. Some of the volunteer
categories are summer gardening, receptionists,
telephone committee, office staff, computer
learning center, mailing committee, Ransacked
Attic Rummage Sale, annual raffle, dining room
and kitchen, gift shop, coffee bar, baked goods,
roustabouts, servers and handy-folks, craft
